CLLC’s Semi Intensive Program gives students flexibility to study 15 hours per week (20 lessons/ week) of quality English language instruction.
Students can choose from Reading & Writing, Listening & Speaking, IELTS Preparation or Business English as their primary class while studying the Semi Intensive Program. CLLC’s Elective Plus One class is also included and gives students the opportunity to focus on additional language skills that are different from their primary class.
This program is ideal for those students who are not bound for college or university and are
looking for an amazing language experience in Canada.
CLLC’s Intensive Program gives students a great foundational focus to their English Language education by studying 25 hours per week (33 lessons/week).
Students can choose two classes from the primary class options, Reading & Writing, Listening & Speaking, and IELTS Preparation or Business English. CLLC’s Elective Plus One class is also included and gives students the opportunity to focus on additional language skills that are different from their primary classes. This is a comprehensive program that gives students the skills they need to be prepared for college or university or a well rounded Canadian language experience.
Intensive Program is our most popular program for its cohesive curriculum focusing on all key English skills. Students who plan to take our Pathway Program, must take Intensive General English as a prerequisite.
CLLC’s Accelerated Program gives students an opportunity to complete their levels more quickly than the Intensive program. Students will study General English and IELTS Preparation for 35 hours per week (46 lessons/week). Students study our primary classes of Reading & Writing, Listening & Speaking in addition to
IELTS Preparation. CLLC’s Elective Plus One class is also included and gives students the opportunity to focus on additional language skills that are different from their primary classes.
Students may take the Accelerated Program if they are in CLLC’s Level 4, 5 or 6. They receive additional support from their Academic Manager to ensure they are on track to complete the level in 6 weeks, instead of the Intensive Program’s 10 week levels. This program can be taken for a maximum of 18 weeks.
The Accelerated Program is best for students who have a tight timeline to reach their goal of attending college or university or want to challenge themselves while studying English in Canada.
