Overview

Our campus:
Learning English as a second language (ESL) in Canada has never been better than at CLLC! Located in the heart of downtown Halifax, we are in an excellent environment for you to learn and practice your English. Halifax is full of entertainment, shopping, nightlife, restaurants, hotels, sightseeing and museums and a host of other opportunities to practice your new English language skills! We are on all major bus routes so transportation is never a problem.
We are inside one of the largest office towers in the city with a shopping mall that includes more than 60 stores. We are also conveniently located in front of the ferry terminal which makes us just 8 minutes from downtown Dartmouth.
CLLC has 13 attractive large classrooms for your ESL studies, with good lighting, comfortable desks, audio and video equipment and a large lunch area for students equipped with TV, water cooler, refrigerator, microwave ovens, and a ping pong table.
CLLC's students can enjoy free internet access and email in our 14 seat computer room.

Dedicated Team:
At CLLC, quality English as a second language instruction and cultural education come to life. Our dynamic and caring instructors along with our dedicated student services team distinguishes CLLC from its counterparts by ensuring that each student has the best possible experience living and learning ESL in Canada.
Our Instructors Are Angels!:
Our English language instructors are more than just English dictionaries – they are individuals who truly care about the success of their students. They understand the challenges of learning English as a second language, in Canada or anyplace else. This understanding and flexibility ensures that each student achieves a higher rate of success in their academic goals whether they be to pass the TOEFL exam, enter a Canadian university, get a better job in the future, or gain the English language skills needed to converse with native speakers.
Student Satisfaction:
CLLC has three channels to encourage students to talk about their comments, obstacles and problems while learning English as a second language in Canada.

First: Monthly feedback forms allow us to know what it is that students at CLLC like or dislike in the school.
Second: Our staff pays high attention to each individual student who comes to talk about his or her problem.
Third: Regular meetings with each group of students with CLLC's high management team in allows us see how we can help them to be more comfortable in Halifax as well as more satisfied with their progress in English. One of CLLC's goals is caring for our students to make them feel at home.
